US International Ricardo Pepi and PSV have agreed to terms for Pepi to join Fulham this summer. I find this a really exciting development for four reasons:
- Pepi has looked like a real talent at PSV and should fill a need with Raul out of contract and Muniz not the same striker he was two years ago.
- This speaks to the club's intentions to progress up the table. I'm not expecting much from Fulham for the rest of this season, but this already has me optimistic about the possibilities for next season. I think that Silva and the players will see it that way too. Will Fulham manage to keep their hands on Wilson, probably not, but this doesn't hurt!
- Look at the calendar... do you see MARCH on it? This isn't a deal in the last day of the transfer window, the transfer window isn't even open! It is amazing how much confidence can be built with clear preparation.
- I'm always excited when we've got another American to cheer for!
Now let's just pray he doesn't get injured in the World Cup!

Fulham's jeckyl & hyde season isn't limited to on the pitch performance, but bleeds into the transfer market as well. However Pepi's performance plays out, it demonstrates an appearance of trying for the moment.

Well that is even more true now as the deal with Pepi is off, again. It seems to be over a relatively minor issue as to when the transfer should happen, so maybe they can work this out? Whatever happens, it seems ridiculous that it is working out this way and I'm back to my previous level of confidence in Fulham's transfer business.

Agreed. As long as he stays healthy, it seems like this deal will eventually go through.
