Fulham has a huge month ahead of them. This will define what this season looks like. By the time we get into April, Fulham will be on the beach or possibly playing for a European spot and making a deep run in the FA Cup. Here is the list of games on the schedule for March:
- Tottenham (H)
- West Ham (H)
- FA Cup - Southampton (H)
- Nottingham Forest (A)
- Burnley (H)
In the league those are four of five teams currently at the bottom of the table. In the first half of the season Fulham beat all of those teams and now they get them again, most of them at home. If Fulham can buck the recent trend of taking their foot off the gas in the last third of the season, Fulham will be in a very strong position for a European spot. Throw in there a winnable FA Cup matchup and March could have Fulham dreaming big in April. But first, they must win these matches.
Looks like a setup for disappointment for me. None of those matches will be easy but they are all more than winnable. Therefore, any dropped points will feel disappointing.
