Nigeria did well at AFCON but fell to host Morocco in the semi finals after a penalty shootout. When it went to penalties I just hoped no Fulham player missed. Unfortunately Chukwueze missed his shot right after a Moroccan had missed his in the second round. Iwobi never got the chance to take a shot after Morocco saved another and coverted their final shot.

Nigeria played Egypt for third and won after another penalty shootout there.

The Fulham trio generally did well and Fulham's form while they were out made it easier to cheer on Nigeria. I will be glad to have them back!
