If you are a regular forum visitor you'll notice some things have changed since we moved to a new platform. You'll need to register to use the new forum. Once you register here are a few tips to get started:

  • Click on the "Edit Profile" link in the top right to manage your profile
  • Choose what name is show with your posts from the "Display public name as" dropdown
  • You can use an avatar you manage through Gravatar or you can upload your own avatar. To upload your own avatar, you'll have to scroll down the profile page past the Gravatar option
  • What used to be called "Threads" are now called "Topics". You can leave a reply to a topic/thread just as before

🍻 Thanks Micah for all your time and efforts on the new forum

Glad to see people made it over! I was very nervous about the transition. Let me know if you see anything that needs to be tweaked or added.

I’m having trouble accessing the site on my laptop, a Mac running Safari 26.5.2 (see attached image). Any idea what this is about?

Also, is there any way on this site to direct message another user like we could on the old site?

I also couldn't access yesterday on my personal laptop (PC; Chrome) due to "high-level blocking" or some such (can't remember the exact wording). I haven't tried getting in today on my personal computer. I can access the site on my work Macbook (Chrome).

I've run into issues accessing the site if I'm on my wifi.  If I disconnect from it I have no issues.
