Fulham is back in Manchester to visit the Etihad on Wednesday with kickoff at 2:30pm EST on Peacock.

No time to continue wallowing in misery after Everton! Fulham must face Manchester City, a team they have now lost to 19 times in a row. On Wednesday it ends! Fulham will get a point! This is the most ridiculous time to do it since Fulham looked like crap in the second half on Saturday, City is coming off a huge win against Liverpool, and we still have the memory of the bonkers 4-5 finish at the Cottage - so time to get Fulhamish!

Fulham will be without Lukic and Cairney for the match (this post initially said Castagne rather than Cairney, which is what the BBC website still says, but other reporting says it is Cairney who is out - which makes more sense). I won't be surprised if Fulham goes out with a back five, since there are four reasonable options for three CBs. I thought Sessegnon played fine on Saturday so I wonder if he'll get another start over Robinson at LB. I'm sure Bobb would like to get time against his old squad, I just hope he looks better than against Everton if we see him. And can we see King again?  That would be nice.

We'll be in the black third kit, so at least we'll look sharp. I also expect the 3 CB lineup (5 in the back), with a caveat that Tete might play as a right-sided CB, and we would turn into 4 in the back in possession. At least that's what I think would make sense. I'm optimistic that we can keep this one close and have a chance to nick a point or more. We have the most talented team in my memory, and that's what makes such performances as against Everton especially frustrating.

According to fotmob, the 19-game win streak for Manchester City over Fulham is "the longest winning run by a team against any opposition in English football history". Eeesh. But let us not dwell on that. Let us relive the team storming back from a 1-5 deficit to make the final 15 minutes of that match super exciting!

Silva will have to mix up the lineup from that last match as the team started with Lukic in the midfield. The good news is that things got much more interesting when Chukwueze replaced Lukic at halftime. So I say they just start this match that way and maybe nick a lead to put City under additional pressure. I wouldn't put any money on the winless streak to end but this team always has a chance.
