Bully, Davies, Dempsey, and Hangeland will make the cut if he proves worthy of the armband.

I'm with who said the offseason is dragging on. When the Euros were going on I had a lot on my plate outside of soccer and couldn't really devote three weeks to following it intently, now I definitely miss the regular season.

It's hard to pick a fave at this time...I guess that's why we get three picks: Hangeland, Nevland and Gera. Can't wait to see who joins the team in the coming weeks.

A note about Kamara - I know alot of folks here and in the FFC community are down on the guy, and it may not matter now that he's hurt, but his flashes of brilliance were first class. His performace at Man City will go down in the annals. I would have listed him in my top 5-7 just for playing such a part in staying up.

Joe had his problems -- always trying to beat one too many men paramount among them -- but his combination of pace, strength, and skill was unmatched. The only hope we have of replacing THE THREAT of him is EJ coming of age. We'll see.

I hope the "GAM" is the answer, damn I hope so.

And I'm all for more Nevland next year; as a sub, he showed a knack for finding the net late. I think he could be much better this year when factoring-in his experience. But, in the event GAM's not the man, please may FFC splash modest fee and wage cash on a proven goal scorer.

And, wow, I found it very hard to pick 3 under contract players. McBride and Keller would've been top 3 last season with Dempsey in the cold.

    1. C. Dempsey
    2. (fingers crossed) Somebody not yet in the squad / or J. Bullard
    3. C. Davies

I may be among the minority, but I'm very disappointed to see Kamara out for 1/2 of a season. He showed some class and guts in the stretch run that had been absent until Woy arrived. Not a coincidence. Woy may have the kavorka - and may FFC prosper because of it!

That's true; but the thing is he's got to have more of this brilliance more often.
