The wind-up about Volz leaving would not be tolerated on any other than the "Chat-Room" format.

    1. It's not possible to spoof the exact handle of another.

    2. While it's possible to assume multiple identities, by multiple registrations.. it doesnt bear fruit for long.
    - All "newbies" on most boards are looked at with some degree of suspicion until they prove their credibility

    3. While there is a drop-dead time on most database type forums, they dont scroll off into the ether in a day or two as does fulhams, so foolishness has a longer exposure to the light.

I really hate being an insufferable prick, but maybe there shoudl be a few more like me so that people are forced to grow up.

The Crew boards also have a lot of teens on there, but they act and post responsibly for the most part, and dont often play "chat-room wind-up", they dont last long, otherwise
-As always, just my opinion.. BUT based on a lot of experience on the net.-

I've seen them come and go, mike... the first Crew board, at that time the Official one, had a problem with teenies and "appropriate" behavior in the vein of the radical fans flaming and a raunchy thread named "SPILF" that lasted far too long because the mods were loathe to intervene.

Trust me, anytime i step over a boundary, you have my full understanding if you kill my posts.

I dont have a problem with the Chatroom thing for NON-FOOTY or even DURING THE MATCH posts.. though the "Sent you email, mate" personal conversations are irksome.. wind-ups like OW's are fun too.

But the substance is far too mixed with the fluff.
