well i also just finished reading 'Dude, where's my country' by michael moore. now i could say alot more that would get me fired from my job, plus i believe that this is something that i have no right to comment about (not being american), so i'm going to take a step back on this debate, as much as i would love to go on for ages about it. just a few more things left for me to say though. 1) How is the American govornment any worse than great super powers that have gone before (i.e, the british empire, the romans. the china dynasty)...it's just the yanks turn?!?! 2) Look in to when the last time a war based on a verb was 'won'? The war on 'terror'....just define that a little more for us GW?! 3) Why did the press never write the headline, 'AMERICA ATTACKED BY THE HOUSE OF SAUD' , when was there ever a terrorist attack in history that was not linked to a nationality....apart from 9/11 of course?!?! and one last thought for you.... Whilst people were boycotting all things French for not joining in on the 'war on terror'...also note that it was them that helped America establish it's identity in the first place.

Okay Misswitch, I get what your saying. But Michael Moore :x I'm incredibly sick of this guy. He goes oversees and trashes his country and the people who live in it for personal gain. Terribly annoying. I'm tired of hearing his analysis of Americans. According to him I'm nothing but a racist bigot who fled for the suburbs because I'm scared to live near black people. Yet he's never met me, how would he know? No I don't think were as bad as other empires yet. I see what your saying but while we have influence and military assets all over the world at the moment we only occupy one country. That’s pretty lame compared to the Roman, British, and Chinese empires.
