Frank Rich of the New York Times is a favorite whipping boy of the political right... in large degree because he doesnt have much a clue what he's talking about.

In this case he takes on Jim Cramer and, besides pointing out -correctly- Cramer's not so sterling track record bases his reasoning on an absolute falsity. But that's not the first time and wont be the last.

    Awake and Sing!

Well, we can stop right there. The highlighted supposition is the key, the fact is that anyone who paid attention to both cases knows what he said right there points to the similarities not the 'difference'.

Vaporware tech products = vaporware financial instruments.

And the money was sucked into both smoke clouds. That's NOT an opinion, that's demonstrable fact.

so, why the hell should I listen to anything else Frank Rich has to say, considering his cred is no better than mine.
Unless you consider an Arts & Entertainment writer an expert on finance and politics.
