What to do with illegals? Self Solving

For those of us who want to deal with the problem by closing the border FIRST then figure out the best way all-round to deal with those already here; here's an indicator

For one, a child born to someone here illegally should not be allowed US citizenship. This might be unconstitutional at the moment, but the FF made the Constitution amendable for a reason.

 

..but when push comes to shove, will the American consumer want to pay twice as much for his groceries?

..or did you actually think it was US citizens who worked the fields in California?

Here's the point: Like McCain said... we've been all through this before. But the guvmint let us down. They promised to enforce the borders, didnt we got a 'new rush' of illegals.
This is just between you and me, I DONT want to hear ANY pol say it publicly for exactly that reason.
Once they actually stop any and all at the border, even to the point of 'shoot to kill', I dont give a damn if they reward every illegal already here with a green card and a chit for a good used car.

'That was then, this is now' is a PERFECTLY GOOD platform to rebut all the 'warm, fuzzy humanitarians'.

And I wouldnt care if children born of LEGAL visitors is given birthright.. extending it to babies born of illegals is insane.

 

I agree with PFog that we are wasting time whining about it.

CLOSE THE BORDER....

When you've spung a leak, you dont start bailing out water before the leak is stopped... you DONT complain about the water and wonder what the hell your going to do with it until AFTER you stopped the leak.

We can argue all day about every idea on how to best deal with this issue. BUT it wont make a difference unless we CLOSE THE BORDER.

Thats fine. I'm willing to compromise as long as people follow the law. THE LAW...
