Think it might be a little early to make that decision. I think we might be at our strongest with Dest at RB and Robinson at LB. IF we have a CONCACAF tournament any time soon, he'll have an opportunity to shine.

It is fair to say that to date Cannon has had the much better performances for the US but I agree with Don that it is too early to make any call on Robinson. I think both Robinson and Cannon are going to produce and there are going to be a lot of variables that go into the decision of who to play. Robinson gets forward better and is going to put stress on teams not bunkering. So far Cannon has been a good defender, is capable of putting in a good cross and shown the ability to help break down bunkering defenses.

With that in mind, and probably a lot of things I am not thinking about, individual games will come down to the tactics Berhalter wants to employ and which side he thinks Dest will be most successful on in any give match. If Berhalter thinks the US is better with Dest on the right Cannon will find himself on the bench unless he makes a big leap in Europe which I do believe he is capable of doing. Who shows the most growth with their club team will certainly be influential in determining who gets time. I am sure Berhalter will be watching these two closely.

It is nice to be debating about who is our best left back option instead of if we have any left back options.

Barry, to be fair on Adams I only watched the final 55 minutes of the Panama match, and he was subbed. It was just in that window Panama was pressuring down the middle where I would expect Adams to take care of. As a player I love Adams and hope he’s past his injury issues and glad to see Berhalter is putting him at his best position.

Yeah, I can see that Joe. The second half defense was certainly not the same as the first half defense in either match. Anyway, I was just curious what you saw.
