USA vs England Friendly

    Is that a specific reference to something I dont know about or just a general patriotism remark. Also, I dont expect it to mean anything to you or anyone else on this MB, but I reserve the right to think better of all of the other players for putting their hand over their hearts.

    Dont remember a time the step over ever got him anywhere, I'll go back and look.

    What did you think of Dempsey's play in the game?

    It's a specific reference to the two-week news cycle on Faux Noise [and others] questioning Obama's partiotism because he didn't wear a flag lapel at a debate. If you missed all that, I apologize and I'm also envious.

    As for his play, like pretty much everyone else on the squad, he didn't do much. Without Donovan, we don't stand a chance against highly rated teams on their patch.

    If you watch the game again, Dempsey had two guys on him most of the game. Capello had them prepared and they knew who our dangerous players were (or was in this case, with Donovan out).
