What a second half performance :banana-dance: First ever US comeback victory on European soil. Jozy not only w/a hat trick and an assist, but 3 different types of goals; one touch left-footed missile, brilliant free kick, and one-timer with his right on the beautifully weighted pass from Bradley.

Aron Johannson; kid looks excellent, loved Twellman's line after a great touch and move 'I can now see why Iceland is up in arms over him leaving'

Wow. What a win, I know it's a friendly, but still. That's a solid performance by the US. Didn't see the match, but caught MBM reports and, aside from the obvious Jozy hat trick (still in awe - he's hopefully become the stud that Villareal thought they purchased years ago [nice job not sticking with him yellow submarine]), Johannson, Howard and Bradley had great matches as well as Brooks, despite giving up a couple of goals, it read as if he was doing a job out there...and come on, it was Dzeko after all, not some schlep from CONCACAF.

I'm excited for the squad at this moment....now, I wish I could be as enthusiastic about Fulham...

Wow! Although he was the beneficiary of some great service from Fabian and Bradley (and a great poke forward by Sacha), those were not gimmes. I say put Dempsey, Donovan AND Jozy up front next year and let them wreak havoc. We 'll need to find a defense before then.

Jozy friggin Altidore. He is the first player in US history to score in five straight games.

The US has now won 12 in a row, the longest active winning streak in the world and the longest streak in CONCACAF history.

And there are 77-day-old kids who have never seen the US lose before.

The first half was a disaster and we gave the ball away like it was radioactive.

But man, what a 2nd half!! Jozy looks incredible. Bradley was very good as well. Ironic that both players are just what Fulham need at the moment.

Today was also the first time that the US has ever won on European soil after trailing in the match.

Upon further review, those were some high level, high quality passes that led to those goals. I mean, really, really good. Like Barca good. I think we're in trouble Saturday against Sunderland if his mates can get the ball anywhere close to Mr. Altidore. He's on FY-UH!

Bradley and Jozy with some quality play and Johansson certainly looks to have a high level of skill.

At HT we were wondering what was about to happen for the second 45, but Klinsmann pulled out another rabbit, and what a second half that was.

Congrats to the team, very well deserved and well worth watching.

.. and with England beating the old firm as well, it's made this ex-pat a very happy ex-pat

I was kicking myself for forgetting to set the DVR. Then I saw the score at halftime and was relieved. Then I was kicking myself again.

Not to get too giddy, but my goodness, let's not forget that these 12 wins have come in a variety of situations with a variety of squads. This Klinsmann guy may know what he's doing after all.

tim, you missed a great match. If you were a neutral soccer fan, you would have loved the 2nd half just for the all out attacking and silky passing from both teams. What we saw yesterday was two VERY good international sides playing VERY good attacking football. What a pleasure.

Also a pleasure, when I finished my stint reading the newspaper for the sight impaired, the guy in the following shift said, "Great match yesterday, wasn't it." I, of course, replied, "Ah so YOU were the other viewer in San Antonio."
