US soccer launches youth development academy

    Last week US soccer kicked off the US Soccer Development Academy with a tournament of some member teams against national teams. The academy includes 60-plus club teams across the nation that have been hand selected as centers for developing youth talent in their respective regions.

    What does everyone think? Is this the answer? Will it improve the competitiveness of our future national teams?
