    Zero English teams left in the CL, but 3 out of 8 left in Europa. Would hate to see Spuds or Scum win it, but always have had a soft spot for Newcastle (the team and the brown ale :eek:bscene-drinkingbuddies: )

    I'll see your Gallas as worst defender in the Prem and raise you Holtby as biggest bust on the summer transfer window. I wonder what AVB would give to have that money back to invest in a cb or lb?

    Good escape by Spurs, courtesy (once again) of a former Fulham man. Their European run would have ended months ago w/o the signing of the Dems.

    And speaking of shells of themselves...where the heck did Adebayor go? If you watched the match, McBride was just shredding his effort and performance.

    Well, there was a lot to criticize in his performance, but there was no effort at all.

    I agree with your assessment of Holtby. He looked great in his first 30 minute sub role, but has looked like crap ever since. Sigurdsson has also shown that he doesn't look nearly as good surrounded by quality players. They are definitely missing their Texan.

    As for Dembele, I think that only Bale brings more to the team than he does. It's a shame that he's had to play on the right wing. With Lennon back, he can go back to the middle. It's been a joy to watch Moussa this season. Where WOULD we be with both the Dems this season?
