I took this test after reading an article about what different people like in travel and thought some on here might find it interesting. Internet personality tests can be pretty doggy I know, but this ones good. When you get results it gives you all sorts of details and travel suggestions.

Apparently I'm a "Mid-Venturer Traveler" "You love to travel, especially to foreign destinations and you seek new experiences and new destinations for almost all trips you take. You enjoy being physically active on trips but unlike your pure venturer friends, you don't want to take such extreme vacations and are more likely to plan your trips........."

    that sounds interesting..

But I found out long ago what type of traveler I was: I'm an "Ambience-soaker".. rather just wander around and soak it in, than go see all the 'tourist sights/sites'.

That means you better find someone to travel with who matches your ambitions ..because I really pissed off some I traveled with as I wasnt interested in all the sight-seeing tours.

This will give you an idea... I grew up in Fairborn Ohio. Home of Wright-Patterson AFB. At the end of main street in the town was a full Atlas Missile, bathed in floodlights and decorated in a Santa Hat at Christmas {ironic and not PC nowadays} It was at the entrance of the USAF Museum when it was located at that part of the base.

Guess my age when I first actually VISITED the Museum? ..FORTY, {and escorting a visiting Brit I was working with at Lexis/Nexis}. Epecially since I'm a gear-head and flight buff.

Because I had SEEN most of the displays in there flying over my head at one time or other... including the Mig15 and 21's.

I DO recommend it highly, though... it's awesome.

I came back as a "Centric-Venturer Traveler". Better than the last personality test where I was "social sociopath"!
