USA v. Turkey on FSC right now.

Turkey was up 2-0, then Feilhaber had a great corner to Brunner for a one touch goal. BUT, no more than 10 seconds later, Turkey scored again. Crap!

That Shea dude was pretty damn good. He's a forward though and not a winger. A less-tall Peter Crouch.

I only saw the first half this morning, but Turkey had earned their 2 goal lead. The US looked very raw, but I guess that was to be expected.

For those who support the United States National Teams, game on in an hour, on FSC.

I've got it on the tube now. Glad to see the Texan Nguyen is off his milk carton and playing football where people can watch. There must be 85 or 90 in the park, at least.

wow; we were totally outclassed. Chris Seitz is the only player in white I saw out there that I think could play in a top league someday. Depressing.

This team is BY FAR the worst team in the tournament. Geez, I haven't seen such un-imaginative play in a LONG time. What a waste of talent. I know they aren't full strength, but you can't create a little more than 1 chance against Ivory Coast? African teams aren't exactly known for their defense. What a crappy team.

When the only positive thing to say about the team is that the gk looked good it's never a good sign. What was the score??

1-0 -- a penalty when our defender kicked the strikers ankle instead of the ball.

Couldnt top that comment! what a disaster!

Well, go back just a little in time, and re-read: There may be some solace, here, if you dig a little.
    The picture caption, though....
