Has ever taken without putting a single mile on the odometer. Shipped her from South Hampton to the port of Galveston in TX.

Picked her up on Friday, stayed the night with the wife and daughter and hit the beach. Drove her home to Houston this morming without a problem. Felt like I was in a matchbox car next to thr hummers, massive SUVs, duallies, and 18 wheelers. Got a few strange looks from people thinking no one was driving the car or were wondering when they looked to their left what the hell I was doing right next to them with a steering wheel in my hand.

One of the dumbest things I ve done...and damn glad I did. Love that car.

Dunno if it still applies to mid-seventies cars but the best advice you could get from anyone concerning earlier editions.

" Find any electrical component with the brand "Lucas Electric" and replace it with one made by Bosch or AC Delco"

Of course, you already joined an owners club and you knew that already.

I just love banging on it, though, and always have.
