The Further Adventures of Hatter Mom

As many of you know, HatterMom is also a strong Fulham supporter -- especially after visiting the Cottage for last season's rousing draw v. Man City. Anyhow, there is a lady we both like very much who was wearing a Liverpool sweater at church today. Neither of us said anything, but she said that it reminded her to tell me that yesterday a man arrived in her office for his appointment -- Mary Lou's a tax professional and works 6 days a week this time of year -- wearing a Man United shirt. She smiled and told him that she refused to help anyone wearing Man United colors.

This started some friendly banter where the gent told her that his "favorite London team" was Fulham. Ah, yet another American for whom his English soccer allegiance is mostly a fashion statement. At least he brought some money into CasaHatter.
