Wow! Left the chatroom for a meeting with 35 min to go, fully expecting to lose this one. Come back and Deuce and Z have headed us to the next round. Awesome!! Just wish I'd been able to stay in the chatroom for the experience.

Unless semifinals are played at Wembley, I think that'd be 180 minutes.

My goodness, my Fulham, my Davies, my Hammersmith, my cardiac kids...

I have such a good feeling about Man U @ The Cottage - anyone else think that they might be a little preoccupied with other competitions? Man U's replay with Inter is on 3/11, and you know Sir Alex is going to be in a full chomp trying to beat Jose. This just in - Cup runs are fun, and Dempsey is quality.

I agree with Bradical here. Sir Alex will rest some of his regular starters I imagine. Only problem with that is, their bench players are pretty solid as well.

However, I could easily see us stealing a 1-0 victory at the Cottage.

    COYW!!!

was at the Cottage tonight -- great number of quality attacks in the final 30 minutes -- in fact, most i've seen all year. It was relentless. If we can deliver that effort for the full 90 against United we have a slight, slight chance.

Are you sure that's what they're doing this year? Seems like some years (2008, 2005) they're played at Wembley (or Millennium Stadium while the new Wembley was under construction) and some years (2004, 2006, 2007) they play one semi at Villa Park and the other at Old Trafford.

If anyone has highlights, puhhleasse send them my way. I think I was able to follow all of 5 minutes in todays match.

But what about Bobby Z, eh?

Also, you know how we were all complaining about not being home? Well we don't leave London until mid-March.

United will be a tough test. Don't expect Fergie to pull a Rafa and rest half his side.

    But still,

I'm very glad to hear Fulham didn't drop it against Swansea.

I know 2 games isn't a trend, but perhaps Zamora will truly become the Goal Scoring Machine™ I wish he kind of was sometimes?

Now bring on...Manchester United, oh, let's hope for one hell of an ugly win...
