Technically I don't think Omar is still a DP following dos Santos' arrival. But it doesn't change his salary or importance to the team and league. There was talk of him going abroad near the end of his last contract but then he re-upped and it became pretty apparent he was going to remain in MLS.

As for Zardes, I agree with others around here. The quality of MLS has become strong enough that he should only entertain going overseas for a top flight opportunity.

Husband in for a month long loan and Amorebieta to Boro on a season long loan. Makes sense to get Husband in while Garbutt recovers. He'll be a welcome replacement for Voser IMO.

Thought Husband played well last year, good stop gap move.

The Stearman rumors have resurfaced and now we're being linked with Lyon cb Bakary Kone as well.

I'm mad. Fulham wasted another young, blossoming career.

Ok, not really, but..umm...why did they sign him to a 3 year deal and then never really play?

I suppose Fulham are releasing him this way is to free up some cash quick to sign another player.

Rumors are Casserole was homesick & never settled into any of the sides. Released from a 3 yr contract by mutual consent would seem to back that up.

Curious to see if Stearman is indeed a done deal as is being "reported".

Seems like a good pickup if we get him. Surely this would mean that Bodurov is on the way out. He'd have Ream, Stearman, Burn, and Hutchinson in front of him.

Plus we're still being linked with Mancienne and Bakary Kone.

Wolves fans seem none to happy at the announcement and it appears that Fulham is trying to pull in yet another clubs player of the year from last season.

If this news about Stearman joining Fulham turns out to be true, I have to wonder if Ream at CB is only a short term fix for Kit right now. Ream may end up filling in as needed for anything center-left on the back line with Stearman taking the right centerback position on a regular basis.

Or he could be planning on Stearman on the right and Ream on the left.

Kind of a bizarre move from Wednesday. Did they think we were going to extend his contract and then let him go for no more than we paid for him last season? It's one thing if the bid is from a Prem team, but I don't see any reason Ross would want to leave for another Champ team.

Per Sky, Ryan Fredericks is undergoing a medical at Fulham. Fredericks is a 22 yr old rb who came up through Tottenham's academy & recently moved to Bristol City earlier this summer. He can also play rm.

So looks like Stearman & Fredericks are 2 of the 3 signings Kit expected. Gary Hooper is heavily rumored to be the 3rd. If these pan out, I'd say we've had a very successful window.

Definitely the best window I can remember. We've got the players to make a playoff push IMO. Now we just have to produce on the field.

Good, that's 2RB covered. Hopefully we get a release confirming Stearman before they close up shop today.

Don't know much about any of these lads, so I'll have to trust the brain trust that they know what they're doing (no snickering). If we come out ahead on any of these deals, this window may better be known for what we DIDN'T do....sell McCormack to Wednesday and Moussa to Feyenoord. At least not yet. Going to be an interesting day tomorrow. Hopefully we're pretty much done. I'm good with what we've got.
