I know people are still feeling down about the loss...I know I am. But what better way to cheer up than to post weird, and/or humorous news stories or videos. I start off with this one:

Uh-huh. The strange voice inside my head defense. Well played little girl, well played.

This little tid bit was especially interesting:

Yup...but you can still get that pointy eared demon dog as long as you buy a $197 pendant. Awesome. I'll take two. One for each ear, of course.

Great idea Heather. Soccer in general has been getting the best of me these days.

Hopefully this will make you laugh, especially considering the economy. Be prepared for bad language though.

    Strange days, indeed.

Thankfully, I have cats, so I don't think I need worry about them being possessed.

Since I think we all need a laugh, here's my contribution to the humor pile (again, there's some "adult" language):

That was pretty good you two. I had seen Mo's before, but it was good to see it again.

I never heard of Dara O Briain before. My husband and I like to rent comedy stand up from time to time. I'll have to see if we can get anything by this guy the next time.

Nothing like a couple of dorky scientist guys to put a smile on your face. And if you havent tried it, it really is just diet coke and mentos.

I actually thought he had already passed. RIP Mr. Hitchens. I always enjoyed hearing his opinions. An articulate voice with opinions that needed to be voiced and heard.

Thanks for posting Heather. My favorite quote, of course, was the one about Michael Moore.

After Friday's match, I think we need some humour [sic].

This is from Bill Bailey's "Dandelion Mind" tour. I liked the tour (and him) so much I saw it in London and New York. He's been around a while, starting with the pub circuit in the West Country. Although not the funniest bit of the evening, it still is worth a watch.

    Good one.

This one is pretty old, saw it the other day on some blog, but it still makes me chuckle.

Was browsing the front page of YouTube and found this. Definitely fits under the "strange" category. Very cool though!

Hey.... That would make a great Directv commercial.. except they already did that.

    It's all about PEOPLE!
Now I'm a 'car guy' {again, not just 'now'} I found this item really transcendant:
    'Greatest Obituary Ever..' {It's not.. I think there's one of these at least every few years but it's still great and only scratched the surface}
    http://www.denverpost.com/breakingn...uary-man-who-loved-booze-women-and?source=rss
Gotta say though.. he gets his 15 minutes of fame a year after he kicks the bucket and makes a lot of people sorry they didnt know him.
    https://www.google.com/search?q=greatest obituary ever

From the blogs, on the right to those supposedly middle:
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/13/michael-flathead-blanchard_n_1424248.html
    To the Gawker:
    http://gawker.com/5902044/is-this-the-greatest-obituary-ever-published-in-the-history-of-death
I only posted those 2 because I enjoyed reading the comments.. I think flathead would have enyoyed them too.
    Here's a write-up by someone who went to his memorial: [url=http://dailycaller.com/2012/0...ilycaller.com/2012/04/15/repor ... y-knew-ye/[/url]
I can't help but think about Ted Nugent. Both are my kinda guy. Except they're gun nuts and I dont really care all that much about guns {except I want all my neighbors to have 'em}, but that's just me.

Today's post is dedicated to my favorite Saul Alinsky rule:
    'Identify, Isolate, Ridicule!'
    Dogs Against Romney
"Putting a dog on the car roof is abuse. Remember Crate-Gate. I ride inside."
Translation: Yes, as a dog, I'm a pussy.. I admit it.

Okay.. that's a good point. CHOICES. But I've had dogs. FREE ranging dogs. Given the choice of riding in a crowded car or on top of it, what would any healthy dog pick? If you dont know you haven't been paying attention to dogs.

"Clean your plate, Barry.. there are thousands of children in America who would love to have a dog"

What I love about fake outrage... just keeps on giving. Amazing how some hate it when it's reversed.

Didnt realize Greyhound racing had been banned in Mass. It was really popular when I lived there, but I never understood why people would enjoy seeing little skinny dogs race. I always thought it was just an excuse to gamble. I passed the Wonderland dogtrack everyday on my way to work. It was the only thing keeping that part of Revere, MA alive; the last stop on the blueline I think. I wonder what has become of it. If it's closed, they should tear it down and the Krafts should build a soccer stadium there.

Personally, I detest these political campaign tactics in the election of POTUS. But, then again, I couldn't help but laugh at this pic:
