I have now officially entered Bizarro World:
    - Chris Baird plays well? Filling in for HANGELAND??
    - I'm on a netbook? And I actually was able to enter the chatroom (albeit with mere minutes to spare; ok so, it took a while to figure out how to get on the in-law's wireless connection . . . )
    - Fulham is unbeaten in 8 matches??

Ok, on to the Cottage, and let's win it there!

I'll try to remember the camera and take pics of the shirt at Nevada's.

Thanks for the highlights. Looks like AJ tripped on that last one, effectively ruining any chance he had of putting it away. Agree that would have been goal of the year by Clint if Gomes hadn't gotten to it. Beautiful.

Best match all season from Konchesky. BarryP is a little harsh in his midfield assessment, but I've taken him to task elsewhere. Thanks, SCJ, for your tip of the hat towards my Baird support. This morning I was called Baghdad Bob for my pollyannaish belief that Baird would do a job for us. Glad he did.

All: Bully has "a dead leg" which is British for charleyhorse I think -- deep bruise resulting in a reduced blood flow. One match report said he'd not be fit for Chelsea.

The Humorously Paranoid Award of the year goes to whoever it was that wondered if Hangeland was benched so that Harry couldn't watch him play.

Finally, The Crew may be "massive," but Fulham are IMMENSE!

Ummmm... I looked at the rankings.

It would seem that not losing in 8 straight would make more of an impression, right?

5 points above the drop zone doesnt seem all that 'immense' to me.
Now for FFC to build on their confidence in the second half.

    That was me.

Granted it's only five points from the drop zone, but the whole league from 7th to 18th is really tight this year. I'd much rather be in 8th with a positive goal differential than be 5 points and 10 places back with a massively negative one. And really, I think Fulham are better than Hull and 7th is not out of the question in the near future. Everything from 6th place on down is wide open I think.

    Between Us and Drop..

My point was that table position might be warm and fuzzy but it's points that count.

We played Chelskum. We didnt lose.

How many places, now? How many points? We gained one.

ManCiteh is 13. One more loss and they would be solid in the drop.
