Sounders Jersey and Sponsor

I will say this, I would wear the Seattle shirt proudly before I would don Petr Cezh's electric salmon goalie kit from the Champions League final.

 

I like the logo and I like the shirt. The colors are nice and the logo looks like a football badge and immediately tells a person that it's the Seattle team (with the space needle in it).

I think it's alright, and the colors are close to what I would expect a Seattle team to wear.

 

I do not see what all the fuss is about. Those are their colors. It looks fine. There are worse shirts out there.

 

It's Cech. But I tell you what, I would not be surprised at all if the field players for ManU found that get-up a little distracting, along with his 1940's American Football helmet.

For the record, right now, I'd take Cech over Van Der Sar every time.

 

Like San Jose's. Blue and boring. You've got other local teams with red, orange, yellow and green in their uniforms, and that is the best they can do? Dissapointing.

 

What is all the fuss about?

Boring, depressing color scheme.
Stupid turtleneck looking collar.
Exterior stitching like it is a rash guard.

I hate Italy and these look like a rip off of the Italy jersey of a few years ago - slim fitting with the exterior stitching and the rash guard collar.

Horrible! They are playing football - not going surfing!

That's right, wife's got me watching this stuff too, but definitely not by choice. Best food show, hands down, Hell's Kitchen, featuring one extremely pissed off English chef.

 

Can't decide if I like it or not but you have to give them points for uniqueness.

 

"universally recognized Seattle landmark"??? Like for soccer fans from a different planet? The land of fruits and nuts, and unoriginal marketing people, this Seattle place.

 

Cascade shale?? is that a color or an object? I'm serious.

 

I think they need a few more mentions of the Xbox in the promo.

Every time I look at that italy jersey I get even more pissed.

I don't mind it. As a Seattle-ite myself I can say that as long as the team's colors were represented, not black or something else not representative of the old sounders, I'm happy. Though I can say I would've liked a white jersey and then a blue away, but none the less it's no biggie.

I'm not going to complain, I am happy we've got a team, so I like I said, I wont waste time moaning about how it should be this shade or that shade, I'm just enjoying an MLS jersey that says Seattle on it.

 

Jensers, what depressing color scheme? Well, I can kind of see where that might come from but in light of recent events anything other than pitch black cheers me up. If nothing else, I'll still wear it with pride!!!

 

Dont take my sarcasm too literally. I dont like the jersey, and I will not buy it, but I am happy about the club. Kits only last a year after-all.
