Philidelphia's fan club has already made the news in England... twice. All this without even having a team. Lovely.

American Fulham fans should call themselves something if we don't already do.

Yes they did.

I was at the MLS Cup in DC in November, and the SOBs (hey, it's their name) put on a very, very impressive showing. They were outnumbered by New England and Houston fans, but not by much, and they marched and sang (very loudly) into the tailgating area together before the game. They have earned the attention they are getting.

As a DC fan, I hope the SOBs are happy when they get their team, because they certainly won't be happy watching them lost to DC all the time!

As I've said elsewhere, Sons of Ben is a perfect organization for Philly sports fans because they get to boo other teams without having to be burdened by the need to cheer for their own.

 

Isn't the first word from the lips of most newborns in Philly "Boo"?
Gotta love the old saying about Philadelphia fans...They'll even boo Santa Claus.

 

What about a name for Fulham American fans? Sons of George? Fulham Colonials? Sons of Betsy?

Some of those comments about 'ultra's' bother me though. I think there's a few fans dont have a brain... wanna fight? Go to a rave or a local biker bar, freaking sh@theads!

Other wise "ULTRA WANNABE" I hope the first time you start something really showing class like stealing a kid's scarf and knocking his mom down, that you trip over a cup and bash your brain and end up with your family having to support -and wipe- your comatose ass.
