Solar: New 'lightguide' tech to market by 2011?

    If so, great news..

    If it works in the lab, and the cells which can withstand the heat channeled to them exist, I see no reason why it cant happen by then.

    This not only solves problems relating to cell fragility and cost of 'thick film' cell production, It ostensibly allows dual-use.. eg; thin doping for windows and skylights allowing them to generate power as well as allowing controlled light passage.
