    If not for the frustrating number of last-ditch goals by Fulham's opponents, Fulham would be sitting comfortably in the top half of the table. Since this problem has persisted for at least two years now, it is time to petition the Premier League to reduce all of Fulham's matches to 80 minutes. It appears that Fulham has been hexed -- surely the FA would consider this an extenuating circumstance worthy of drastic action.

    The evidence that Fulham has been bewitched is overwhelming:

    Arsenal scores the winner in the 90th minute -- 1 point lost;

    Middlesborough scores the winner in the 88th minute -- 1 point lost;

    Aston Villa scores the winner in the 90th minute -- 1 point lost;

    Wigan scores the equalizer in the 80th minute -- 2 points lost;

    Sunderland scores the equalizer in the 86th minute -- 2 points lost;

    Fulham also had a Carling Cup run taken away by a 112th minute winner to Bolton. Cursed? You bet, and it's time the Premier Leage did something about it.

    To be fair, Fulham salvaged a point in the 90th minute against Tottenham, but there must have been some counter-hex in effect solely on that day, because Fulham immediately reverted back to giving up late goals.

    In total, Fulham have lost 6 league points due to this obvious last-minute curse. It's a disgrace that the Premier League has allowed this to go unchecked this long.

    Arsenal not only scored the winner in the 90', but the equalizer in the 84'. That's 3 points lost. People forget how close the Whites were to winning that game.

    Excellent, excellent point -- that's a total of 8 points down the drain, and it just proves how strong the curse was right from the beginning of the year. I think this is conclusive evidence that the curse was placed by that Wenger devil. Given how Arsenal has gotten even better WITHOUT Henry, the man is clearly either some sort of wizard, or else made a deal with Satan. Either way, Fulham shoud not be made to suffer for his nefarious ways.

    With curse: 14th place, 9 points

    Without curse: 8th place, 17 points

    And it's not like Henry is over the hill - he's already scored 4 goals for Barcelona.

    I'll sign, but take it even a step further...half-time. Hell, we'd all be droolling about Fulham being in the Champions League.

    Best of luck in that endeavor, 'fog!

    ladies and germs, the preceding response was a textbook example of restraint and self-censorship on the part of HatterDon.

    What did Fulham do to deserve this kind of unholy hex?

    Does AmericanMike need to take a goat to The Cottage for the next match?

    Although, after a little thought, perhaps relying on a ChicagoFan to fix this is asking too much. Reading was great, but you may have been punching above your weight. You're not Steve Bartman are you?

    Any Boston fans have any ideas??

    Sign every big name free agent, and have the second highest payroll in the league (which is miles ahead of third place).

    Which is something I really dont see Fulham doing anytime soon.

    I'm still waiting for local fans to start blaming the Americans. It usually comes down to us being in the wrong for everything.

    lol.

    WHY O WHY O WHY ARE WE CURSED WITH THESE LATE-MATCH GOALS AGAINST???!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

    We urge that Fulham's hexed matches be stopped in the 80th minute, so what happens? Naturally, they give up the late equalizer in the 79th minute. :roll: :x

    Very funny, football gods -- very funny. :roll: :x
