Alright, this ends the long streak of draws. Lets start off anew with a win Saturday.

And I honestly think Dempsey can make a huge impact if we start him.

wow. this is rather appalling. we now need at least a point on saturday. i'm worried fulham may go through february without getting a point. i'm not panicking about relegation, but i think i am beginning to develop an ulcer which i dont forsee going away anytime soon. sure do hope i am wrong.

Yea, I just saw the "highlights". Just as bad as I read. Absolutely FLAT.

A win against Sheff U would have been great...

Where was Bocanegra? I thought he was in the lineup.

/rant on/ rubbish, I think even the board looked past this game for some reason, usually the next game is a announcement on the main message board page, but for this game its gets no mention. It's like we were channeling the players thoughts. They looked right past this game, because of the excitement of the FA cup win and the thought of a big game against tottenham. I would say this game is the epitomy of fulhamish. Hopefully though they will come out and do what they usually do after a performance like this and get an unexpected win. We need points, I know watford is done and probably charlton, and thankfully west ham lost last night, but I do not want to rely on the bottom 3's performance to guarentee our return next year. I want to see us battling for top 10. /rant off/

The one detriment to a great cup run is going into a game on short rest vs. a team that hadn't played in 9 days. Gotta have faith they will come up w/a big effort on Sat. Hopefully Newcastle and Villa will tie tonight and the Whites will gain ground this weekend.

The loss was not pretty and was a tough way to end the unbeaten run but remember that it is only ONE game. It is the team's first loss since December 9th. The key will be in seeing how the team bounces back Saturday. I have faith in this team to turn things around and get three points.

That unbeaten run saw us win a total of 0 matches against EPL teams and we have gained absolutely no ground on any teams. Really we are worse than when we started this run. Why do supporters always try to find positives where clearly there aren't any positives to take from this.

Knightmare and Pearce once again prove they belong in League Two. But do we sign a centerback? Course not! Why the fVCk would we do that!

    :3d crying:

I belive you may have answered your own question.
We all feel the frustration, some just don't dwell in it as long as others.

We did beat one Premiership team, Middlesbrough, on December 18th.

As for taking positives, not losing nine straight matches is NOT a bad thing. Considering the number of injuries and players leaving, I think this run of matches was rather good.

Of course it would have been nice to turn a few of those draws into wins, but it did not happen and we move on.

The Sheffield United match is not one that was good for Fulham and that is obvious, but I for one am not going to throw the previous nine matches away based on this one result.

Perhaps you do not see any positives in the last month and a half of the season, but considering that Fulham could have lost ten matches in a row or even lost a few of those matches, I am rather happy with the current standing on this team.

Remember, they are only nine points back of sixth place and still nine points ahead of 18th place. There is plenty of season left to play. The team must move on in a positive direction and not dwell on one bad game.

As a supporter, you are entitled to you opinions as to how you want to think about the team. I may not agree with you and vice versa you with me, but that is the joy of supporting clubs and getting involved in sports. We all have opinions.

I think everyone needs to take a deep breath after this match. It was very disappointing/pathetic/fulhamish/whatever, but its over. Personally, the root of my frustration was how this compounds the prospect of going a pointless february. It wasnt so much that Fulham "should" have won (which, ideally, we should) but more so how much they needed to. Its not so much a shock as it is a "CRAP!!"

Luckily two of the matches are at home, and Bolton and Newcastle are quite inconsistent. ManU...let's talk about them when they arrive. I think Fulham can steal 3 points this weekend. As I just wrote, the Jordies are very inconsistent, and we're pretty good at home. So yea, lets turn this negativity into positivity (or however that tribe song goes) and root for our side.

I don't have my way back machine, but I'm sure that if you checked back to the last match before the Middlesboro victory, you'd find that we are now farther away from the bottom three points wise than we were then. I think that, after today's matches, we're probably still fairly comfortable.

I don't think we're doing great; I just don't think we're in danger at this present time. I really do want three against Toon Town, though.
