As the nut is bent so grows the tree.. or is it 'the twig doesnt fall..."

Whatever... I've raised, from youngest to oldest, a conservative Libertarian, Lib Libertarian, the above Republican/Conservative (he is learning the game), and an out-and-out moonbat!

    But they ALL question authority.

You should be proud you have kids with convictions. I'd like to become more involved in politics, but I'm so wishy-washy; I side with conservatives on some issues and liberals on others, and I haven't liked a contending presidential candidate since I've been able to vote (okay, only two prez elections, but still...), so I guess I'm the proverbial swing voter. Best man for the job, I say!

Yes, I do I have a tendency to ramble on for hours. Why do you ask?

NOTHING wrong with voting on basis of national issues!!!

I despise that term 'middle of roader', because it's associated with being wishy-washy... you CAN be a passionate fence sitter!

look at Conservative/Libertarian differences on Abortion, Gay marriage and Iraq War.
