    As I wrote on FB:
RIP, Mohammed Ali. Quality Human Being!
Flawed? Sure, like all of us. But a life well lived and an inspiration to challenges overcome, self betterment, and compassion to others, to the end.

As I posted on Facebook earlier today:

"Time is an interesting thing. I remember when Muhammed Ali was the person most hated by white America -- becoming Muslim, speaking out against Vietnam, dropping his "slave name" -- and now he is almost universally mourned by the same group. There's a benefit to getting old before you die."

Well, Don... Too bad I cant find what i wrote about Malcolm X. You would really have enjoyed that.
Is there anything you wont use to separate and denigrate? The 'Right' wasnt the only party which grew in understanding.
    It's called HUMANITY!
For you youngers, Look up the wikis on Ali, Nation of Islam, Elijah Mohammed, Malcolm X.
    They're close enough.

Didn't say anything about "the Right" ... and I wasn't trying to divide anyone, just pointing out that people mellow over time -- at least most of them do.

I couldn't find what you wrote either. The newest thing on your Facebook page is from May 20.

Covered the janazah. the Islamic funeral prayer, for Ali today. It was at the Kentucky Exposition Center, in the North Wing adjacent to Freedom Hall. An interesting, educational experience, obviously. From a purely professional standpoint, I saw more smartphones and tablets on photo/video mode being hoisted overhead than anything of substance. Couldn't even see the speakers due to the setup. But I did see Don King, Jesse Jackson and some foreign heads of state that I didn't recognize. The one with the most security...the first lady of Turkey, Emine Erdogan (I thought it was Queen Noor of Jordan). Tomorrow should be interesting.
