Quick reply issue?

    If you reply to a post via the Quick Reply box and click the "Smiles" button, it says "Hacking attempt1". Anything to do with the hack of a couple weeks ago?

    I think we've had problems with that module in the past. not sure why, though. I always go into the preview mode before I do the smilies. It also gives me a chance the clear the subject line so we don't get serial 'RE's. 8)

    Told pettyfog about that roughly a year ago, or whenever the initial hacking happened last year.

    In response, crickets.

    I blame pettyfog's inability to fix the problem on nearly every misunderstanding on this website. Don and pettyfog used to agree on nearly everything, but now look what has happened.

    Smileys make a difference.

    Christian is apparently Totally MindF%%%ked. Don and I agree MORE now than ever previously.

    And I just Mod, I dont do Software Admin. I know and understand reasons for glitches but frankly I dont recall that particular one. Also understand how difficult it is to roll in new/updated code so I 'let Mikey do it'.

    Since this site is done on the cheap, this is how it is.

    Meantime, go back to the sage old doctors' advice:

    "If it hurts when you do that, dont do that"
