That would be me. My beautiful, talented, and smart grandniece co-wrote and features in a [very] short film that won a prize at Austin's SXSW festival.

Here, he said proudly, is the link: http://www.youtube.com:80/watch?v=p2E777-Ro10

I have no idea where she got her new last name, but I have been her biggest fan since she was 3 -- about 12 years ago!

I thought that I would see pictures of a baby and not a psycho teenager murdering people in a school.

Hatter, that was very well done for teenagers. However, I'd still rather see them doing some math problems or science experiments.

    well,

    1. she was a victim not a murderer AND

    2. she happens to be a whiz at math. Art and math/science are not mutually exclusive, you know.

I'll take your post as a congratulations and accept it willingly!

I didnt say she wasnt a whiz in math thats why I joked about doing math and science problems.

I did give the film a very honest compliment amd remember that my parental outrage is also a compliment to an artist.

However, my congratulations was missing so here it is . . . . CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU AND YOUR GRANDNEICE

Sorry for the omission. Amidst all my packing before leaving for my favorite country, I'm trying to quickly squeeze in a few posts since I will miss this site while I'm gone.

Congratulations gratefully received -- and passed along to the young lady in question, I might add.

Now have a ball in Old Blighty, and take [and post] some pictures for us stay-at-home types. We're all jealous of you.
