And in other news, ManUre wins again. Ho-hum. How boringly predictable. The only other boringly predictable inevitability is whether Real Madrid or Barca will win La Liga. We need some more gazillionaiares to buy up some more also ran clubs to make things more interesting.

The title race has been dull, but the race for European places has been anything but.

Last season was almost the exception. Title races tend to take a backseat to the battle for 3rd/4th and relegation, and that seems like a flawed system, but don't think there is anyway to fix it now. The best match of the weekend revolves around the Euro spots and trying to survive the drop; Wigan v Tottenham. Both teams need 3 points real bad, which should make for a great match

I just can't imagine Spurs not stream rolling Wigan after the way they caught fire against Citeh. Personally, I think Villa have everything to pay for against Sunderland. Three points at home would probay put a lot of pressure on Wigan.

A very interesting day. Newcastle are in deep doo doo after stinking up St. James against scousers. Who'd have thunk that? Two red cards against Southampton vs. Zoopla (what the heck is that anyway?), nice effort by Spam against Citeh, they deserved better than they got. Spuds were darn lucky to get a point at Wigan. Both Tottenham goals were flukes. At this point, they don't deserve CL football next season. Stoke and Norwich, eh. Watching the rest of the league is definitely more entertaining than watching us right now, for the most part. We've already extended Jol for next season, right? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Spurs battled back twice at Chelscum 2-2, but the point leaves them not controlling their own destiny. What the draw does do is ensure those relegation battlers that face those three teams they'll be getting the big boys best shot.
