Player sponsorship-Dempsy

    If we would like to sponsor a player, like Dempsy....what's involved? etc?

    Hey, Txgrl. For the last couple of seasons we HAVE sponsored a player. In this case it's been Brian McBride. Discussions about sponsorship for the upcoming season should begin shortly. Since Brian has extended his contract at the Cottage, I'm assuming that we'll be sponsoring him again this year. Having said that, we did some talking earlier this season about perhaps sponsoring a second player. Keep reading the posts; it'll be topic number one before you know it.

    Hey TXgrl,
    Believe or not, someone sponsored Dempsey this year, and he was English. It was nice to see a local Fulham supporter welcome him to London and especially to Fulham. Dempsey seemed flattered by the notion.

    As for next year, we'd like to sponsor McBride again of course and if the interest is there, sponsor a second player which is TBD.
