So, okay, I get it I get it, I get it. I understand where I've been wrong, how silly I've been. At last, thanks to you and Pat B. and all the other enlightened ones. I at last realize what I need to do ... what we all need to do.

We declare war against the entire religion of Islam. We kill all the Arabs and Persians and Indians and Pakistanis, and Afghans. The we kill all the Americans who worship in a non-Christian way. Then we kill all the gays and lesbians. Then we kill all the Christians that we don't think are appropriately Christian enough. Then we kill all the people who say "Happy Holidays" because they hate Jesus and Bush and America. And then we get all those educated, sensitive dolts who think we should respect other peoples' beliefs and we rip them all in half and smear their blood all over their wishy-washy churches and pansy universities. Yeah! Yeah!

Once we realize the truth of The Petty, we'll rise up as a righteous unified Christian nation and kill everyone who doesn't honor the Prince of Peace. And we'll feel good about being knee deep in blood, because that's what it means to be American and Christian! Yeah! Kill everyone that isn't us! Yeah! Brag about it when we do it! Yeah! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How's that for not giving a crap about the moral high ground!?! Turn the other cheek my ass!

If only 0.1% of muslims in the US were terrorist that would mean there were 10000 muslim terrorist active out of 9,992,860 muslims. (Source: http://islamicweb.com/begin/population.htm)

If you interned the who muslium population I am sure you would create an army of freedom fighters amounst their ranks.

Sure would...and I bet that 10,000 figure isnt far off. And that means there is no 'internment' solution.

Other than refusing to bend over for them.

    Well, Don... I've calmed down a little after reading that mind-blowing missive and I will answer all this calmly.. {"I will not implode, I will not implode!"}

1st: Equating me with Pat Buchanan is essentially the same as calling me a racist. There may be a few points I might share with him, but not likely for the same reasons. I dont waste the 'Racist" tag and I use it sparingly, but if I were to use it, he would come close... as would many public figures YOU might call enlightened and progressive.
I know where you are coming from.... and I understand it. But of course you cant back that up with anything I've written without stretching credibility to even your limits
Do you have a home blood pressure monitor? Suggest you use it while typing the above stuff.
Of course you cant point out where I - or the people I read- advocated any such thing.
Might suggest you gaze at your navel a while and figure out what you have against the 'average Southern Baptist' I see REAL ISSUES there... like maybe you feel like they are criticizing you with their beliefs. I know the feeling, been there too.
Let it go... they forgive you.
I'd say it's been a pretty good group therapy session and we've made real progress.

    Love ya, man!

Love ya right back ... and, YOU brought up Buchanan in a previous post, and all of my rant was composed of things I've seen in several of your posts. As to "what I have against the average Southern Baptist" -- first of all there ain't no sich animal. That would like saying the average concert violinist. I'll wage I've known more of this sort of folk than you have, you benighted Yankee, and I'll also bet that me and my family members are on more SB prayer lists than you. So I don't criticize any of them.

You really need to stop attributing things to me and other liberals that aren't part of what we believe in. But aside from that, it was the start of "a nice therapy session." Phase two is a retreat from political posts. See you when I'm a little less angry. Peace out, Buckeye

Things you THOUGHT you saw... if you can put up my 'favorable' post on Buchanan, i will heartily 'mea culpa' because I think he's near-racist and an isolationist.
And the proof of the pudding is, in my opinion, the media he usually appears on.... and that AINT fox.

You know damn well what I meant when I said 'average'.

Okay this is scary! I know we're both muppets, but I don't think we're interchangable! If you fix your post, you can delete this one!

I cannot disagree with the concept that the government did wrong in the Padilla case... what I'm saying is that I'm glad they took him seriously and that I cant be too upset over his civil rights being abused.

And that you seem to think that the 'Imams just were having a bit of fun' is very indicative to me... you REALLY dont take this seriously. When will you?

I suppose it was 'just a harmless prank' for some guy trying to light his shoe, and some other passenger went way over the top.

    -Sigh-

Has it occurred to you that there are some cases where you cant wait until there is a crime committed?

Has it occurred to you that those Imams were guilty of terrorism?

If not that, then violating several lesser laws already on the books... for which a rock band, for example, might spend the night in jail? Unless they were Muslim, of course.

Now... we ARENT going to go through process with them... can you see why?
