Setting up Hillary's second pass at it...

Here is an argument, specifically on Meds costs, that I've been making since before Bush's lame medicaid bill.

Do you people get that? The Socialized NATIONAL health services DO NOT PAY for new drugs, WE DO! THAT IS WHY we pay so much.

In fact, isnt it possible that the TWO primary accelerators in Health Care costs are the great improvements in medical treatment technologies, as well as the insured having to carry costs of the uninsured?

There are OTHER problems, as well. Such as widespread skimming and corruption on the part of Hospital Owners and Administrators, some HMO systems, not to mention incompetent staff hired under union rules and affirmative action who are put into Accounts Payable so they cant screw up patient treatment.
And NONE of those will be addressed by a national health plan.. indeed it may make those factors worse.
