    Cinncinnati Bengals over Pittsburgh Steelers
New England Patriots over Jacksonville Jaguars

I dont know what happened to the post I made last night, prior to Rumstove's ... but I believe it, and the one before 'disapperaed'.

Anyway I said either Bengals or steelers big...

Heh... cant believe we lose both the passer and receiver on 66 yard bomb, second snap of game, both to knee injuries.

Such is life, and, today, makes perfect irony!

Could have been worse... could have been the Giants. Sorry to Giant fans... maybe next year.

Pats to win the superbowl again (hopefully), but my second choice would be the Colts.

How much did the NY Giants flatter to decieve this season! Even the games they won they did not look good in. I can't believe that anyone thought they had a realistic hope of winning last weekend and I was over-joyed to see them get a right pasting.

Hopefully the Steelers will get a right kicking this weekend because I hate watching them play and I hate their moustached turnip of a manager. He looks so tough but when he opens his mouth his sounds like snagglepuss. Even it hadn't been for Palmer getting injured last weekend, he'd be sitting at home now.

Did FulhamUSA curse the playoffs? I know Rumstove picked all the games correctly, execpt one. But did any FulhamUSAer's team advance past this round?

Coincidence, I think not!!!! :3d nervous:

    DID he?

    seahawks over redskins
    panthers over bears
    - DUH!

broncos over patriots AT DENVER altitude 5000ft
    - closer match than the casual observer would think. Pat's were riding high, based on fast starts and hiding weaknesses.

    colts over steelers
    - 'nuff said.

It wouldnt surprise me AT ALL if the Steelers went all the way and hoisted Lombardi.

Pettyfog, the main point of my post was that the none of the FulhamUSAers' team that they support are in the playoffs. ChicagoTom's Bears are out. My and VB's Patsies are out. Mike's "that team in DC" are out. Your Bengals are out. There is a FulhamUSA NFL curse...you can't explain this with rational facts.

Eh...I dont care. Once the Bengals leave it, I always have a backup... usually either the Chiefs or Pats - because of the soccer connection and i like how Kraft runs his sports clubs.

But I think I'm gonna root for the Steelers the rest of the way... just to be ornery.

At least your teams made the playoffs. My Vikings weren't even close. (yes i live in WI, but I've always liked the Vikings...I live closer to the Twin Cities than Green Bay.)

Heh... the Vikings did GREAT, considering all the crap they had to deal with.

Erase all that, and I'm thinking they would have taken the Central. Sorry, Tom..

Perhaps the Vikings would have won the division, but I am not sure. Regardless next season will see a bunch of surprises. A lot of decisions have to be made in places like Minnesota, Green Bay and other teams around the NFL. Obviously the Bears need to a make a few moves and decisions with personnel, but I like where they sit heading into 2006-2007.

The nasty injury bug steered clear of the Bears this season. I fear for that next year. It is rare a team can go two straight seasons with few major injuries.

Anyone but the Steelers...I would hate them to win. Not only do they bore me senseless, but their coach is such a winner. I think watching the lose in the Superbowl, preferably by missing a last second field goal would be fun!

Do you mean whiner? I agree he is a winner, but I am guessing you were meaning to say whiner.

Nah, I meant he is a real winner. I guess it doesn't translate well.

Yeah, that is true. I really hope they can keep the off-field 'entertainment' to a minimum next season.

As for tomorrow's games, I want Seattle to win, but if Alexander has problems Seahawks don't have much to fall back on while Panthers seem to always find a way to get Smith the ball, so I think I'll take Carolina over Seattle.

In the AFC I want Denver to win. I like their defense, and I think Roethlisberger will be bothered by his thumb again sometime during the game, so I'll take Denver over Pittsburgh.
