I have to say, a Menage a' Trois is doing it for me these days.

I thought it was about the MSL!
    Oh, did you say WINE?

Anything mid-priced and red - and some cabernet's - out of Australia or Sonoma.

There has never been a finer red wine grape than a good California Zinfandel. I recommend Armida Wineries and William Hill Wineries for a good representative taste. There's also some seriously top class Pinot Noirs available in the Russian River Valley. Sigh. Them were the days.

Thankfully, the semi-okay Zins are still pretty tasty and affordable and, if you have hot oppressive summers like we do, a Pinot Grigio will cool you down and chill you out.

I'd like to try a Menage a' Trois, but my wife doesn't go for that kind of stuff.

    ...she's strictly a beer drinker.

(such an obvious joke that I thought somebody had better post it and get it over with).

I love a nice cab or a shiraz from California or Australia. About 10 years ago, I had one of those you-know-your-old-now-moments when I was offered a choice between a beer and a red wine, and I chose the wine. I still love a good beer, but these days when I have a drink, more often than not it is red wine.
