It's the stigma that goes with Columbus. That said, the day the circus (MSL) leaves town at the place where it all started, it will be sad, if only for that reason.

Grande Ol' Opry!?!? Damn, things move fast in Texas. Still gettin' down to Lawrence Welk in these parts.

Chicago looked awesome against NE tonight.

Has me really worried about next Thursday night when they come to Cols {assuming we beat KC which we should}. And I wouldnt really be worried except for the McBride paradigm.

Wow! There's a new sheriff in town. New England gets to watch from here on out. Sorry I missed the match.

Just got back in town and had meetings this evening, so I didn't get my McBride fix. Well, there's at least two more of them to go.

wow; just sat through the first half of the RSL-CUSA match. Looked more like hockey/lacrosse. Glad I was safe on my couch.

Haway The Yellow Submarine of Columbus. Wish I could get seats for both legs of the Chi-Col match.

The Fire-Crew matchup is a one and done Don. The winner on Thursday advances to the Finals.

thanks for the clarification. Great second half at the HDC, by the way. You can see the effect of the South American influence in the MLS recently. There's a lot of artistry and a lot of thuggery. Entertaining.

And about Zach Thornton. If he's not in the goal, last light is 4-2 RSL and the first leg is probably 4-0. I'm not saying Zach is back, but he played huge in two huge matches. It was nice to see the big man so good again.

I also did not see that coming, but I did watch the game, and Sublicon was down in Houston to see it in person, so perhaps he did have a hunch there might've been a win in the Red Bulls' future.

Dane Richards and Danny Cepero were both phenomenal, I thought.

I believe that means another game in RSL's new stadium and I would favor Salt Lake to beat Red Bull. Javier Morales has been terrific for RSL and if NY is going to have any chance they will have to contain him.

In the Crew-Fire match I like the Crew because they are playing at home. This is a terrific match-up and one that could just as easily produce a scoreless tie or a 4-3 thriller.

My call is RSL v. Crew in the Finals.

    RBNY?

Seriously? But, a pasting of Houston makes me take notice. Crew still have to be favorites, but, this thing is a crapshoot for me at this point.

    RBNY!

Nevada Smith's was a-rocking, and I got tons of hugs from a Scottish dude who was impressed I kinda knew who Hibs were and that Titus Bramble sucks. But seriously, the Red Bulls game RULED. Cepero RULES. Dane Richards RULES. Dave van den Bergh RULES. Osorio RULES. Houston sucked, especially De Rosario. WINNING RULES! RULES!

Wow!!! I cannot believe NY did it. Thank you Red Bulls, now I get to go to one more match at the Tinto. Saturday will be rockin! Tailgating will probably start Friday night, seeing as how every match there it has started 2 hours earlier then the last. Count me in! I have no idea what will happen in this match. RSL has never beaten NY, although they have never lost at home with each match being a draw. I like the way RSL played against the goats. It looked like the roles were reversed as RSL was spraying the ball all over the field. The midfield for RSL is really linking up well and I love the impact Javier Morales has in his attacking mid spot. New York has done a good job taking him out of both matches this year, but Jason Kreis inserting of Clint Mathis into a withdrawn forward role has paid huge dividends as he has alleviated the pressure of teams that man mark Morales by providing one more possession player in midfield, and RSL has yet to lose with him in the starting lineup. Looking forward to this match. Also, looking forward to the showdown in the East. Should be a great match there as well.

with the Dynamo out, perhaps they can focus on the vital game against Firpo, and have the MLS save face in that concacaf champions league.

The CONCACAF Champions League is in it's first year, can it really be that important so quickly?

Anyhoo, Thursday and Saturday are the Conference finals. I want a NY win! Even if it leads to a Chicago ass-kicking in Carson, I WANT IT ALL! And I want it now.

    LA vs. DC?
