McBride's Return a non-event

    Garnering the attention it, perhaps, deserved.. Brian McBride's entry into the Fire/DCU match at 46 {for WHO?!!!} didnt make much difference as Fred hit the old onion bag to damp the Fire down.
    This raises the question more plainly .. exactly what need can McBride fill at the Fire when Blanco essentially plays the same tactical role?

    Meantime, the Revs lost big at San Jose, and the Crew rallied in the second half from one down to climb back to first in the east and single table.

    Once again, I wasnt there.

    I didnt think there was any way he would play in that game. He couldnt have arrived from China any earlier than Friday. McBride sacrificing himself yet again.
