thanks for the analysis andypalmer. I agree with your assessment of the SPL, although Rangers did follow that up by losing at home to a team far worse than Hamilton.

So, yesterday Edu said that he meant to make Barry Ferguson's position his own [after the Rangers' skipper fouled his own nest], and today he gets what turns out to be the deciding goal in an away win over St. Mirren.

Bad news? Beasley also started and was stretchered off early in the first half.

what a stud! talk about a sweet combo in midfield for the USMNT....Bradley & Edu. Talk about a lot of steel in midfield.

Somebody tried to bisect him at the hip. He really needs to get out of that league. He'd be safer almost anywhere else.

Yeah, I had the same thought. The Scottish league is rough-and-tumble.

The latest word is either a cracked or broken rib, you know, the sort of injury that only hurts when you breathe.

Not at all like the enlightened Celtic fans who taunted Claudio Reyna about 9/11 during an Old Firm match.

An idiot is an idiot no matter the persuasion. The one silver lining noticable on Edu tweeter (tweet? twit?whatever) is he mentions the words "a couple of r own fans". Can't begin to know what it's like to be racially slurred, but at least Maurice appears not to be condeming the fans as a whole.

Even Fulham FC has a few idiot fans. If you doubt it, check out the Offal Messageboards.
