    RE: What the Argies said...

Assuming GBS is "the Twin" (given that they showed his twin brother during the game), the stats pretty clearly do show that he was the playmaker.

appreciate the translation, but anyone who watched the match doesn't need analysis or statistics to indicate who the lead role belonged to. Everyone else was supporting.

Don, I wouldnt presume to crow in any way by posting domestic stuff on the game.. I thought it was interesting to see what was written for Argy consumption.

Also... we have had great response to the Crew from other supporters.
Here's a thread on the LA locals viewpoints, including the Nordecke West set up and tailgates plus post game parties:

Thanks for catching that one Jim. She told me she was interviewed but didn't know if she would make the cut. I think she is working at becoming the face of the Crew since she was also interviewed on the NBC and CBS affiliates the day of the game. Granted, that might have more to do with the fact that she was the only sober person at Tommy Keegan's!

Also, thanks for the well wishes! The due date is January 1st, so things have been more than a little crazy around here.

Congrats on the upcoming arrival Mr. and Mrs. Jux, that's the way to bring in the new year. After reading the paper it looks like one of your christmas gifts won't be a surprise :D

RE: Re. Our Mrs. Jux interviewed

Jux gave me the heads up that we were a topic of discussion, so I thought I'd come off my hiatus...
Thanks for the congrats, everyone! We're having a boy, and if I have my way, he'll be named after a Crew player, in honor of the massive victory on Sunday. And, it seems that our boy and ChicagoTom's boy will have a lot in common-maybe even a birthday, or at least month. Maybe they will become the MLS peacekeepers between the two clubs. :)
Thanks, also, for all of the well wishes for the Crew. It's been a great season, and a specatular week this week. Granted, that is quickly getting overshadowed with the movement and rumors and uncertainty with Sigi and some favorite players, but we'll see how it all pans out and move on from there. Enough key players will be left to keep the momentum going, I'm sure. If we're lucky enough for a chance for the back-to-back Cup, we'll be there, with Sigi Guille Ale Marhsall "crew cat" Trupp in tow!

    More from Cols alt media

Via Craig Merz, who's quirkier when writing in the OtherPaper than for the MLS site.
