    wow! I didn't know about that. There's a good payday for the newly minted Conference side.

    The only connection between the team that I know of is Jimmy Ryan, a retired winger who played for Luton in the early 70s [when I spent most of football time at Kenilworth Road] and is now director of youth football for United .

    Thanks for keeping track of the Hatters, guys!
