Well that is good news. I liked what I saw from Bouzza last season. I like the idea of having people to fall back on if someone doesn't work out. That is something FFC was short of the previous few seasons.

Definitely. Fulham's lack of depth really stung last season I still want a CB; but you can never go wrong with depth at forward, should there be injuries or slumps.

Well as FFC24 was talking about earlier this week or last week, center back Johan Djourou of Arsenal was available to take on loan until January. Unfortunately, Fulham did NOT get him. Birmingham City did.

Djourou made 30 first team appearances last season for Arsenal and he could have helped us out a lot. I am surprised that Wenger let him go out on loan. I figured he would play a bigger role this season in the back of the defense. I guess not.

Fulham's loss is Birmingham's gain apparently. I rate Djourou as a quality defender, he has youth on his side and a fair bit of pace. Like Tom, it does baffle me that Wenger has chose not to hold onto him for the season. I guess it is better not to question Wenger when it comes to developing young talent. He has it down to a science.

i'm sick....all these signings and still no new CB. Mike...I like your analysis and I do agree that Fulham need to do a better job holding possession...but still, Knightmare has shown us that all it takes is for him to do what he does best...@#%@$% up and bam....Goal for the opposition. One more CB...Please LS!!!!

    Agree.

This is like having a car, putting racing stripes on, a spoiler, a sunroof, new tires, new engine, and then when you get in it doesn't start because it has no gas.

Obviously Arsene Wenger and Steve Bruce have a good relationship. Arsenal has loaned 4 or 5 players to Birmingham in two years. I think the problem with Djourou coming to Fulham is that he might not have been guaranteed a starting spot. Birmingham seems to have told Arsenal he'll start right away.

The other problem is that you'd lose the guy after one year.

Would I feel better if Fulham had gotten him though? Yes I would.

Appearently Fulham have offered Liam for both Seol and Ivar(CB) from Reading. I like the players that they are sending us, but after watching Baird play and knowing that Volz is not that good defensively I am not sure on this. Both players are decent, but Liam is our best talent Fulham has ever had in the Premiership and I do not want him showing this in another kit. Still though I guess I could accept this deal if it ever went through which is doubtful.

I like Liam, but I think if we can get these two players for him we should jump at the chance. I like Ingirmarrsson a lot and I think Seol can give us more depth in the midfield, which is never a bad thing.

Baird did NOT look good on Sunday, but I think he will fair just fine as the season progresses. Expect a much better performance out of him tomorrow against Bolton.

I rate Liam over any other defender Fulham has at this time. Yes, even over Boca.

    BUT...

Can Fulham really pass up the chance to get two quality players from Reading? Ingrimarsson has always impressed me and Seoul provides a quality winger to provide service going forward.

Bit of a dilemma. Not sure which way I tip on this possible move.

Are you SURE about the Korean? If so, two birds, one stone. But it aint gonna help FFC Asia marketing if he doesnt play.

Seol is a hard working winger with a fair bit of size. He would be a valued change of pace compared to the likes of Cook, Dempsey, Bouazza. He also has a cannon attached to each foot. Everyone likes a lightning bolt form distance.

Just have this terrible feeling that if we let Liam go he will blossom into this world beater. He has quality and youth. Not sure if Fulham should let that slip away...

Riquelme would never come to Fulham. As far as Solano...he did absolutely nothing w/ Toon and I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. haven't heard anything on the Demerit ordeal but aftre hearing Aidy say that "King" was worth 60 mil to them...I doubt Demerit would be in our price range.
