Don...do you have a link or have you read anywhere when Bullard may be back? Hoping he can start training with the side in a month or two and work his way back to being match fit. Fulham need his energy and quality in the center of the park.

All the information anyone gets is from the official site or from Fulham News Now [link is on the right side of the home page].

I do NOT have a link to any information about Bullard and his current status with rehabilitation. I can't remember where I read, but I thought that it was doubtful he would be fit for the start the of the season.

As someone above eluded to, it would be nice to have him by October 1st. September 10th is when the injury happened. Thus, it would be over a year. However, if you saw it, you will be amazed that he made it back that fast. It was one of the worst injuries I have ever seen with my own two eyes on a TV.

Aside from Cisse and Alan Smith's injury it is the worst I've seen. Bullard's kept optimistic during his rehabilitation and can't wait to see him back in a Fulham shirt. Thanks for the help Tom and Don.

Crap. He would've been a really good pickup. I hope LS didn't blow this one by making another low-ball salary offer.

    Negative Nancy reporting for duty.

Will Bullard even be the same player when he's physically fit? Steven Davis is probably being looked at to replace him if he can't go.

Haha, you have found yourself a fan Lyle. In all honesty I do see the silver lining to your recent posts. Sort of a devil's advocate approach mixed with realism.

Agree with a few posts ago about Bullard. Will he be the same player that he was a YEAR ago? I am hoping that he will be and there may be a better supporting cast in place to help him once he returns to the first team.

That really sucks about Kapo. He would of been quality and now he is going to a team that will more than likely compete with us for league position.

There are still quality targets out there at that left wing position though. I really want to see us have an interest in Bosko Jankovic from Mallorca. He is quality and will cost around 4M, but that is worth the money and he will be a star. This is a must need as we have nobody that can play this position and he would fit in the English game nicely.

    http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hli ... +Brunt+bid

We failed in a bid for Chris Brunt. When interviewed weeks ago the Wednesday boss said Chris Brunt was staying.

We're still connected to Seol Ki-Hyeon though. Doubt Fulham goes after the Serb at Mallorca.

Why the hell didn't they take a stab at Beasley though?

    Anyone else see this article?

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/ ... 996576.ece

Ouch calling out the mental toughness. Is there anything worse then being called mentally weak??

Again he says this, I have a hard time beliving it, we'll just have to wait and see.

I'm willing to give him a few years but please Lawire don't betray our trust and get us relegated in the process!

He's going for the tough players who play ugly but get results approach. Kind of like Bolton. Not sure I'm down with that, I like gritty toughness but not boring football. If we win then I guess its ok............

If Fulham turns into Bolton I will be pissed. Didn't like the way they played and it was by far the most boring football. That being said I would rather be a bit bored and stay up than be flash and relegated.

Ki-Hyeon may not have the credentials or bring the same creativity that Kapo has, but he is still a quality footballer IMO. May even be a better shooter than Kapo...that is debatable.

Agree with Lyle...why wasn't there a bid for Beasley? Surely the other yanks could speak volumes of what Beasley brings to a side.

Just found this on the Daily Mail

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/li...all.html?in_article_id=465073&in_page_id=1779

O'Neill has agreed to the 4 million quid fee for Davis as he readies Aston Villa's bid for Nigel Reo-Coker. Fantastic news and Fulham has signed a quality young midfielder. Looking foward to seeing him in the white shirt.

    Fair Play LS.

I have been on the verge of bringing up Earnshaw on several occasions since the season ended. Now it appears to be too late.

I know he's a whiny bitch, but the little fart can put the biscuit in the basket. He'll do Derby Co. a world of good; guess he's from the wrong Celtic country.

I'm glad Derby is adding to their squad at least. They've been about as active as Fulham and Man City.
