I agree, there are already three Americans on Fulham and that is a miracle in itself; especially being in the world's top league. There is a familiarity with the current American players at Fulham and I believe Beasley would hit the ground running. Literally and figuratively.

My insight: Out of the eleven positions on the field, right back is the one that we LEAST need to be looking to improve.

Mido not really looking at Fulham anymore after Fulham fail to offer enough money(Daily Mail). I didn't want Mido at Fulham anyways. Good ridance!('')

Read that earlier today. Fantastic news IMO. The bid was rumoured to be around 4 million quid and that was far too high for what he offers. I'll take Healy at a quarter of the price for now.

The Beasley news has soured my day. If he was a no talent ass clown from England his wage would have been 2-3 million at least. Unbelievable. American or not he's better than the other options out there.

All England born players that are half way decent are over priced. It is the convenience of not really having to scout that drives their prices through the roof or just a superiority complex most Brits have of their players. American players have been under priced the past few years. I mean what was the most expensive transfer for a yank anyways? Less than 2 million quid...

I am not sold on the Ki-Hyeon signing. I mean he has a rocket for a shot, but I do not think that he will improve our team like so many do. If we sign him for that much then he deserves a chance, but he will not do any better than what we already have.

The Morrison deal would be a mistake. Rosenior could become an England international and really does it matter if he cannot make a pass? I mean he shuts down pretty much anybody he plays against. Our RB position would become a need if we let Rosenior leave as Volz is absolute crap defensively.

Can't say I agree with your assessment FFC24. I've seen Ki-Hyeon play at both the club and international level and he has continually impressed me. Sure he isn't a world beater, but he would add much needed depth to the side.

Yes, you need a RB to pass, but that being said I wouldn't like him to leave. Morrison is a quality player and would, in my estimation, be in the starting XI most of the time. Volzy is the Hoff...he isn't crap.

Ki-Hyeon would be a great addition to the club. The price of 1 million pounds I think Fulham should definitely take a chance. He can play up front, he can play on the wing and he has shown he can play in the Premiership. I am not saying we would be a world beater, but he would be a great signing for Fulham.

If Rosenior leaves and Volz is our starting RB then people will be crying for Rosenior to return. Volz can attack, but on the defensive side of the game he is crap and I know many Left wingers who will agree. Rosenior is young and he is brilliant defensively the attacking side of his game will come around. He can become an England international and with that kind of talent defensively there should be no need to sell.

Volz can play a variety of positions and It isn't easy changing positions, but he has done everything asked of him by both managers. RB is probably not be his preferred position.

Obviously you are are big supporter of Rosenior, but I am not ready to anoint him as the future RB of the England National Team. His game needs to improve, but with time and experience he can be the finished product soon.

Seol (I'm pretty sure that's actually the surname) may not be the greatest left winger in the universe, but for the rumored transfer price of a million pounds, and considering that we have zero left-sided midfielders in the fold (and heck, Radz played there last year but he's gone too), it seems like a good little pickup.

Whats up with the Hughes signing? Is that not happening anymore? Can Lawire not even convince his N. Ireland boys to come to the club?

This saga is going toooooo long, we need a signiture.

You got that right Spencer, it has gone on too long.

I'd be satisfied at this point if they signed a new assistant waterboy.

Patience...I know it is running thin, but I still believe LS will bring in about 4-5 quality players to add some depth.

What leads you to belive that?

I was preaching patience a few weeks ago but seriously! I'm having doubts about LS's ability to bring players in. Almost August and not one signing.

We still have 5 weeks till August and LS is keeping his transfer targets to himself as not to start a bidding war. It is always difficult for a new manager in his first transfer period. I'll be patient a bit longer before I lose my head.

You hear the rumors and things seem to be moving in the right direction for a signing and then we can't or won't pay the asking price. I realize we have to maximize our small budget and can't give the farm away for the sake of signing someone, but it's tough playing the waiting game. I'm sure LS is working some magic behind the scenes. Well, I hope so.

I think "almost August" means something a lot different for you than it does for most of us.

One person on TFI pointed out that it's really after July 1st that a lot of the stuff starts to heat up. Out of the 18 summer signings we've made the past three summers, only four concluded before July 1st (Bullard, Elrich, Drobny, Helguson). So... I'm willing to continue to be patient.
