Watford and Wigan are killing us in the transfer market... as far strengthing your team goes. Watford has even found a Hungarian goalkeeper. Watford had a scout in Hungary!!! Where's Fulham's scout in at least Germany?

Right Fulham has problems, but they're playing it smart I believe... because of Les Reed who knows all this stuff. The major problem for Sanchez and Reed is that they don't have time to have set up scouts in Europe and elsewhere. Hopefully that'll be done in the future, but they're probably working with who and what they're familiar with.

Oh, and if you think Fulham has problems... take a look at Man City. Holly molly!!!

The slogan I will choose to use for Fulham's transfers this summer will be..."when it rains it pours". Currently Fulham is in a "dought", but I imagine that when the signings come they will be in spurts of two or three.

That is my guess at least...

I wouldn't say, by any means, that Watford and Wigan are killing us in the transfer market. The only thing they've done is sign players (sub-prem players if you ask me), would you really want Sibieski, Bramble or the Hungarian goal keeper at Fulham. NOT ME!

Agreed...simply signing players just for the sake of signing players is foolish. Liverpool is facing the same dilemma now. Supporters are continuing to pressure Rafa and the owners to buy players, but if they aren't players who will improve your side what is the point of signing them. Patience is a virtue.

You know what I just realized? We're all complaining about not having signed anyone yet, but once we do sign someone, we'll all be complaining about who we signed. Nothing will really ever change.

I mean, unless we sign Ronaldinho, but then someone will be complaining about his hair or something.

That is life. Can't please everyone. As long as they improved the club and Fulham climbs further up the table I will be happy.

Fulham is on par to sign a top Korean player due to the pressure placed on the club by LG. Since Chelsea has cut in to swoop for Chun-Soo, Fulham has turned to a promising target and one that I am a big fan of Seol Ke-Hyeon. He has been solid for Reading and unleash a devistating strike from time to time.

Also, Radz is being followed by Southampton and Watford at this time. Best of luck to him.

Agree with TOC that signing Ke-Hyeon would bolster the club, he looked solid at Reading...I hope Fulham still inks Chun-Soo though. F&*k Chelsea.

If Fulham had to choose between Chun-Soo or Ki-Hyeon I am definitely going with Ki-Hyeon. He has size, some pace, good service and what a shot he possesses.

Would solve the left winger problem and signing a south korean to satisfy LG. "Kill two birds with one stone"

Seol Ki-Hyeon, this man has a nice shot. Please, MAF, give us this player, and as TOC sayeth, 'kill two birds with one stone.' Or Chun-Soo. Or Hughes. Or Eto'o...

Again, "so take me to the airport, and put me on a plane, I got no expectations..."

Fulham would be heads and shoulders above their form from last season going down the left with Ki-Hyeon out there. He doesn't look to shoot first, but when he does finally decide to shoot it can have the makings of something special.

Seol Ki-Hyeon is class and I would love to see him in a Fulham kit next season. I highly doubt Reading would even consider getting rid of him but if they were thinking about Fulham would be wise to jump to the front of the queue to get him.

Every article I read on the matter seems to be purely speculation. It seems the only reason he is linked with Fulham is because he is Korean. He is a fantastic player and would love to see him here as well, but every article seemed to end in this manner..."but Reading are not keen to sell him"

I was trying to be a bit facetious in light of the fact that nothing is happening. I have to say I'm impressed with what Watford is doing though. They don't look like they're selling anybody except maybe Danny Shittu, and they're bringing people in for a strong push back into the Premiership.

And Wigan is putting up the good fight desperately trying to stay up another year. Right now though I'd say Derby, Wigan and Fulham will be the worst teams in the league... based on what each team has right now. Sunderland may suck talentwise but Keane with do wonderful things with them I think. Man City needs to find an owner and a manager, otherwise they're going to have some problems... even with lots of promising youngsters on their team.... so we're not the only team with transition problems.

I believe Fulham will have a fight on their hands, but to say they are one of the bottom three is a bit of a stretch. Derby, Wigan and Birmingham/Sunderland are most likely to be relegated. Although I do believe the Black Cats have the best chance of the newly promoted sides to stay up. Keane seems to be a sound manager.

I think Fulham is relegation material right now. The club is not in good order and Sanchez's credentials are mediocre. He may prove to be a great one, but we don't know yet.

Derby looks to be the weakest team, although they have a first class manager. Sunderland will improve the quality of their club and will cause problems, although definitely in contention for relegation probably. Birmingham won't be horrible probably. Reading will have a sophomore slump I bet.

The problem with Fulham is that it doesn't have its act together right now and hired a manager on the fly. It'll take a full season for Fulham to gain anykind of momentum again... as far as hoping for the Top Ten or Europe and bringing in really good players.

Does the Korean at Reading really play on the left? I thought he played on the right? Convey was their left midfielder until he got hurt.

Ki-Hyeon can play on the right, left and has played forward in the past. He does quite well drifting in from the left and can put a solid shot on goal. He has played the majority of his time on the right side of midfield for Reading, because Convey and Hunt have been on the left. He is a bit of a utility player in that sense.

About Reading's sophomore slump...It will probably hit them harder than they expect. Sidwell was a massive part of their side and if they also lose Ki-Hyeon they will have some serious holes to fill.

I agree about Reading. Sidwell was their engine. Coppell knows this and foresees problems. It'll be interesting to see how they do. I think they'll survive though.

I also have no problem with Lee Chun-Soo or Ki-Hyeon coming to the Cottage. We need anybody who can play left. And the Koreans are usually highly competitive and disciplined players.
