I believe a few of the players rumoured with Fulham have a fair bit of quality and would definitely add much needed depth to the side and a fair bit of consistency.

More than likely we don't even know have the people LS is targeting, but I believe Fayed won't leave LS out to dry in the transfer market. Would be a terrible way to start off his term as manager of Fulham.

Yes... Koumas and Diomansy are real winners. Played for the relegated West Brom team of two years ago and couldn't get pass a less talented Derby side to get promoted this year (QUALITY).

I know they aren't bad. They may do some good. Fulham needs depth, but they don't play defense and they are borderline Premiership players... but Fulham is a borderline Premiership squad though.

I would just go out and get me some Polish or Slovakian kid who might be as good as these guys and cost a quarter as much. Who cares if they can't speak English well.

Since you only chose two of the nearly 12 players Fulham has been linked with I am guessing that the others by your estimation are either not worth the time or have a decent shout to be Fulham player.

I don't rate Kamara nearly as high as Koumas who is a solid player and by your logic of Koumas and Kamara not being that talented because their sides got relegated then you could lump in Andy Johnson, Peter Crouch, Darrent Bent, Jay DeMerit, Marlon King and Jagielka all in recent history as not "real winners".

Not trying to brow beat you Lyle, but talent from lesser leagues is found all the time. I would trust a fee for a player who has played in the prem and shown a fair bit of quality to an gamble or unknown from "Poland or Slovakia". Don't know why you pointed those two nations out in particular.

Granted Fulham has been linked with big names so far, but then again when was the last time Fulham was linked with a big name player?

30K per week? And, he turned it down. PCB, you are correct, sir!

I'm puzzled: why don't players want to come to a great borough of London, to an old club, to great supporters (assuming competitive salary)?

PCB, I am now making it illegal to quote anything from Tribal Football. Punishment for this offense will be death by firing squad.

    I'M SERIOUS.

    Just in from Sky Sports:

West Brom have turned down a double swoop for Kamara and Koumas by Fulham. Bid was said to be around £7m.

Luck most certainly is not on Fulham's side in this transfer period. I can understand why Hyppia chose to stay at Liverpool...maybe loyalty and comfort outweigh greed afterall.

Can't understand why West Brom has turned down the bid for Koumas and Kamara. They probably think they can bump the asking price up a bit and get away with it.

Even worse, we offered cash plus TWO PLAYERS in the deal. Wonder who they were.

Any word on Brown today? I've read a number of articles about his displeasure at Fulham and wanting to move on. Apparently Wigan are chomping at the bit to sign him.

I am afraid a disturbing trend is developing. I don't understand it, but for some reason our club is being treated like we have TB.

Reading between the lines, I believe you are saying, "DON"T FREAKIN' QUOTE TRIBAL FOOTBALL!"

Between you and me, I get what your saying man.

Portsmouth and Fulham have expressed an interest in signing forward Hameur Bouazza from relegated Watford (The Guardian).

Finally, another left sided player that Fulham is linked with. He is versatile player that can play as a winger or forward, losts of pace and delivers a good final ball. By no means a prolific striker, but help on the left side is needed.

    474 posts without a signing!

Sod this for a lark. I'm off. I'll check back when the Friday email arrives and says we've signed somebody.

    Later on.

Koumas would be a good addition to the side, but I am not completely sold on Kamara yet. I agree that Pompey seem to be attached with every name out there. Gets a bit frustrating to say the least, but when you continue to improve and the funds are there most players are willing to take a chance on Pompey.

Hoping by the end of the week to read a CB, Healy, Koumas and Bouazza have signed. (wishful thinking...I know)

Frustration is starting to build. Seems more players are interested in leaving than coming to Fulham. Hopefully LS can get some transfered worked out soon. Growing abit restless.
