Why is it that some clubs have to completely shit the bed before they get it right. A waste of almost an entire season and collateral damage that could have been avoided. Hope this means Celtic get it right, not further fall into a quagmire. They've got good players, even Kamara, but leadership is desparately needed.

Here's a question: Why do Celtic -- guaranteed of a European slot the day the season opens -- pick a guy whose team was just relegated from the Prem as their man to lead them to the top of the SPL and to preeminance in Europe? Seems kind of incongruous if you're really a player in the world game.

Mowbray has a track record of attractive tactics and enjoyable football to watch. He also has a track record of failing at the top level in England while the two teams that finished below him in the CCC -- neither of which had his resources -- both did well enough to stay up.

Begging the question: what were Celtic thinking? Or were they thinking at all?

Asked myself the same thing when he was hired, but much like Dirty Sanchez, gave him benefit of doubt until proven otherwise. Didn't take long to be proven otherwise.

I put this one entirely on the front office. They knew what they were getting when they hired the guy. He wasn't going to makeover the team's style in one year. So either give him the time or they should have hired someone who better fits what they were trying to do. If they know what that is.
