I thought Real Houselizards of Atlanta was Jackassery personified but I watched part of an episode last night and I see the definition of 'Loser Media Whores' hit a new low.

What's up with the ultra tanning? Disgusting.

 

Where's your sense of humor, 'fog? Sometimes you just have to laugh at stupid media whores. That's what they're there for, after all. This NJ native doesn't understand why everyone has their panties in a bunch and thinks Jersey Shore is hilariously stupid. It's not like stereotypes about Jersey or South Jersey or Italian-Americans (sorry, it seems like the term they on the show prefer is "guidos") wouldn't exist if the show were to disappear from existence. So why not be amused by people who embody stereotypes?

I mean, heck, how much comedy that people DON'T find objectionable is based on laughing at stereotypes? For example, take Woody Allen and derivatives like Richard Lewis and Paul Reiser and Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld. Playing the stereotype of the neurotic NY Jew for laughs is practically time-honored tradition. Jeff Foxworthy and the like, same thing. Sometimes you've gotta just go with it; if you can't laugh at yourself (and people like you), who can you laugh at?

 

I love horrible reality television. I love this show.

 

I'm only offended that people think these people are from NJ. No, nearly all of them are from somewhere else. Staten Island, if I recall correctly.

Also: Per NJGuido.com, one need not be Italian to be a Guido. I prefer the term douchebag because it's far, FAR more accurate.

 

Uh... no you dont. Ancestry or Location, I dont think that was ever anyone's point. North Jersey and Staten Island?!!! Gimme a break... it's only down to exactly which state is misspending your taxes.

Back to the subject sorta:

Speaking of Douchebags, I predict you will never again see a Reality Show on Tattoo Parlors on Bravo or A&E {Where's the 'arts' part, anyway?}

Instead the new reality rage will be on Laser shops where the young'n'stupid trash goes to get their lifestyle mistakes corrected or covered up.

MTV2 MAY still do a 'Bakersfield Ink' series for the purpose of making fun of 'pop-art idiots'
